the bane of my existence.
if it weren't for this damned vision, i wouldn't have had any homework through college (and yes i would have been accepted because you can't keep a guy out of college because he's blind).
when i was younger i used to take off my glasses and pretend to have lost them so i wouldn't have to read aloud in class. my teachers would tell me that even people that can't see can still read. even at a young age i knew this wasn't true and that they were stupid for saying so.
how are you supposed to read without being able to see the words. are you just supposed to 'wing it'? this isn't college we're talking about here, this is reading. you can't just show up and improvise your way through moby dick.
either way. i've continually heard about this 'sightless reading' and thought, 'alright guys, you may have tricked me once by convincing me that drinking beer makes you stupider but you can't fool me into believing that blind people can read'. what's next? telling me they have emotions?
so, one day i was in an elevator and reached over to press the 'L' button and felt some peculiar bumps protruding from the otherwise smooth metal plate surrounding the remaining floor buttons.
i instantly began ranting about how 'they just don't make them like they used to' until upon further examination i noticed that these bumps appear to be in some sort of pattern.
i quickly went home and scoured the source of all of my information, imdb.com but unfortunately it didn't shed any light on the situation.
i returned to the elevator and brought silly putty along to take an impression of the bumps to study the pattern more in depth.
after much studying and research, it appears as though the Free Masons are using elevator panels to post information regarding their secret meetings. i have yet to crack the ancient code but i think i'm getting close.
after a few too many bourbons, i foolishly told a friend in confidence about my findings. they cast my theories aside and simply said, 'that's braile, blind people use that to read'.
i was forced to murder and bury that 'friend' due to their obvious tie to the Free Masons. now i know I'm on to something. They must have been watching me for quite some time and planting members to infiltrate my friend circle in order to thwart my efforts to expose their plots.
i am debating as to whether i should retrace my steps and murder/bury all of those that had previously spoke of this 'sightless reading'.
clearly this is a metaphor for the Free Masons' desire to have members that are capable of deciphering their secret messages with little effort and show no questioning or resistance to their will.
the eye above the pyramid is beginning to make more sense every day. luckily, i have this forum where i can safely post my thoughts, findings and most importantly address for anyone who reads it so they can mail me homemade arsenic-free almond brittle (thanks mom).
i'll have to go 'quiet' for a while but i'll be back soon with any additional findings/burials.

This reminds me of my life a lot. Just the conspiracy part (I always and still do suck up to authority, not by choice, by autopilot), and the silly things that grown ups say part. I still don't remember why I didn't just ask these questions instead of trying to figure out some child's rationalization.

Perhaps all of your readers feel left out of our little circle of friends and overly personal (mostly me) discussions. They may feel awkward intruding. Maybe they don't give a fuck and don't ever read the comments. Maybe nobody reads your blog.

1) @bobby i too find myself automatically following along unless the authority figure has publicly shamed me. then i attempt to 'poison the well' by spreading slanderous lies about them in order to undermine their ability to control the masses with little to no effort. i think people don't comment on my posts because they have no idea who i am and are afraid that i may show up at their residence with an overnight bag [errrrikkkk... ;) ]

the pentagram maybe be a clever means to distract people from his otherwise bible thumping ways
